OCEANSIDE — November 2, 2026. Oceanside’s current city FAQ says residents may schedule pickups of up to five bulky items, five times per year, and the same basic frequency for qualifying electronic waste.
Call for an appointment first
The city directs customers to Waste Management at 760-439-2824. A confirmed service day is important: items left at the curb outside approved pickup arrangements may be treated as illegal dumping.
Different categories need separate verification
Large furniture and electronic waste may be managed through different collection streams. Contact the hauler with a precise item list so hazardous or oversized items are not incorrectly presented for ordinary trash pickup.
Who handles the garbage bill
Oceanside says Waste Management directly bills household trash, food-scrap and recycling services rather than the city. Residents with missed collection or account changes should check the hauler’s own service record.
